My wife and I pursued income opportunities from home about 5 years ago. Our first venture was with eBay auctions. Fortunately, my father owned a sports memorabilia business in a small town (La Grange, TX). He accumulated a ton of memorabilia but did not have the "traffic" to sale his items. With the Internet experience that my wife and I learned about, we were able to auction my father's items on eBay. This is how we learned that the Internet would soon become our "gold mine"!
We're sure that everybody knows that with the right products, income can be earned online using the power of online auctions. By using this POWER, we learned how to build our own web sites, optimize them for a particular subject, and start earning a huge income without paying the fees associated with auction sites.
This knowledge and experience progressed into successfully finding free affiliate programs that pay you for selling their products. It sounds easy, but our experience and "back breaking" work behind the computer is what it really takes to earn an income that may replace you current job income. There are millions of free affiliate programs, but you won't earn a dime until you learn how to market them and find the programs that actually pay you.
Unfortunately, we spent tons of money trying to market these programs that are?to put it simple?SCAMS?at least 99% of them! Examples include Get paid to read email programs, get paid to click programs, get paid through Paypal?..bottom line is what my wife and I call-Get Paid Easy programs.
After 2 years of scams, we learned that there are legitimate home business opportunities online. We learned that the only way to succeed with an online business is through finding legitimate online marketing businesses combined with mastering search engine optimization. In other words, build your own web site that will result in page 1 search engine rankings on innovative search phrases. You'll never get page 1 rankings for keywords like "business, money, home, work, finance, rich?etc". We learned to build sites concentrating on keyphrases like "work at home business, business opportunity at home, online business opportunity, etc".
Within the sites we built with these key phrases, we concentrated on legitimate and better business bureau membership online programs. Our first challenge was to filter out the online marketing businesses that were scams?.and filter out the online businesses that appear to be legitimate, but prove to be illegitimate.
While searching for our current online "Gold Mine", we spent tons of money advertising our sites and trying online programs, and tons of labor building web sites. After 3 years of patience, persistence, and ambition, we NOW work at home full time. A combination of legitimate online home business opportunities, mentoring others, search engine optimization web design, and traditional marketing methods have resulted in a true home business income for our family.
